Choose between Promethean or SMART software, and the rest is done for you. The whiteboard applications bring the original lessons to life through the use of colorful visuals and interactive tutorials and quizzes not found in the print edition. Don't have an interactive whiteboard? A PowerPoint version is provided with both editions, so pick the version that you hope to have someday, and until then you can use the slide-show lessons with any computer or projector to enhance your "Mallet Madness" experience.

Includes over 120 exercises and melodies (folk, pop and original songs), as well as technique tips and beginning music theory. Familiar songs have the words included (sometimes more than 1 verse is given). Vocabulary, theory, rhythm or technique concepts, as well as new notes, are highlighted in train car pictures (the Vocabulary Express, for example). Helpful tips and questions about the music are given throughout the book. A "Superstar Express" challenge page is included at the end of the book. Each piece shows the correct track to use on the CD (when applicable), and how many measures of introduction are used for each accompaniment.
